Real Madrid continue their workouts with Mourinho

Seven players from the first team have been training thirteen days in a row with Real Madrid Castilla. After attending the 12th UEFA Elite Club Coaches’ Forum, Jose Mourinho returned to continue supervising the sessions. He was joined today by Castilla coach Alejandro Menendez. The session lasted for an hour and thirty minutes, during which ball work took centre stage.

Internationals to play Euro 2012 qualifiers and friendlies

Real Madrid internationals will play in the qualifying rounds for the Euro 2012. Seventeen players will return to Madrid next week on either Tuesday or Wednesday to prepare for the second league match against Osasuna at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

Spain ended the World Championship qualifying round with a victory against Canada in which Madridistas Reyes, Garbajosa and Llull gave a great performance. Velickovic’s Serbia earned a victory against Prigioni’s Argentina, while Tomic with Croatia was defeated by Brazil. The six Madridistas along with their national teams will go through the Round of 16.

Dutch side Ajax and Italy's Milan, two of Real Madrid's three first opponents in the Champions League's Group G, currently lead their respective league tables.
